Create-and-trade cards give party guests a shared project that can run for fifteen minutes or stay open throughout the event. Prepare the station before guests arrive so the creative part can begin immediately.
Set up the table
Place KeepHi with an adult helper, compatible paper, colored pencils, markers, blank cards, tape, and a tray for finished work. Choose one party-friendly theme such as space pets, magical snacks, ocean heroes, or silly vehicles.
Make each card
- Print one themed character or object.
- Attach it to a blank card and add color.
- Name the creation.
- Write one special power and one funny weakness.
- Add the maker’s initials on the back.
Choose how to share
Guests can trade one-for-one, contribute a card to a group gallery, or keep every card they make. Make the rule clear before the activity starts so no one feels pressured to trade a favorite.
Add a group challenge
At the end, pick three cards at random and ask the group to invent a story that includes all three. Another option is to build teams and explain how the characters would solve the same problem.
Helpful party tips
- Keep one adult at the device and let children focus on ideas and coloring.
- Use short prompts so the line keeps moving.
- Prepare a few example cards without suggesting there is one correct style.
- Only photograph or share children’s work with appropriate permission.
